The spring ice breakup is a massive event that marks the beginning of summer time. As for anyone who has lived close to a big river, it has strongly influenced my inner landscape of the year's cycle. The ice breakup has lot of symbolism as well. I wanted to put those feelings and thoughts into music.The samples of ice cracks&hisses in the background enhance the rhythmical elements.
